Job summary

QA Limited is seeking an IT Technician Apprentice to support education communities by delivering hands-on technical assistance and transforming digital learning environments. You will handle first-line IT problems, assist with network management, and build strong relationships with school staff and leadership across multiple sites.

The role requires driving and a flexible approach, with 37.5 hours per week and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• GCSEs with at least 4+ in any subject.
• Maths and English GCSEs at grade 3+ (D or above).
• Must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level for this apprenticeship.
• Combination of qualifications and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the customer portfolio and respond to incidents.
• Manage problems to resolution for network or equipment failures per SLA.
• Ensure all records and call notes are updated in real time.
• Act as primary contact for technical issues with vendors and partners.
• Manage day-to-day tasks to meet service levels and initiate changes as needed.
• Seek improvements to deliver value and efficiency for the customer.
• Raise issues and provide solutions while maintaining a strong customer interface.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.
