Job summary

Autodesk Education Experiences (AEX) is hiring a Software Development Engineer to build education-focused product experiences across Autodesk platforms. You’ll own features from concept to launch, collaborating with product managers, designers, researchers, and platform teams.

You will implement backend services, integrate ML/AI, and develop tooling for CAD platforms like Fusion, Revit, and Maya. This role emphasizes fast iteration, secure coding, and scalable architectures within a startup-like

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Full-Stack development workflows and front-end familiarity (JavaScript, React/Next.js).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and version control (Git).
• Ability to integrate with CI/CD pipelines and write testable, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Implement backend services APIs, integrations, and product infrastructure.
• Move prototypes to production with a balance of speed and quality.
• Integrate and productize ML/AI solutions with engineering teams.
• Build plugins/automation for CAD platforms and tooling for experiments.
• Collaborate across product and engineering boundaries and participate in code reviews.
