Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a specialist SEN School and College in Bury. This full-time role involves helping young people aged 11-19 with various additional needs across secondary and post-16 settings.

You will support learning, independence, and social development in a safe environment. Ideal candidates are caring, patient, and resilient, with experience in care or education settings.

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a specialist SEN School and College in Bury. This rewarding full-time role involves supporting young people aged 11-19 with a range of additional and complex needs across both secondary and post-16 settings.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to young people with additional needs
• Encouraging confidence, participation, and engagement in daily activities and learning
• Supporting individuals with a range of SEN and complex needs
• Assisting with personal care where required, always promoting dignity, respect, and independence
• Using positive behaviour support strategies to manage and de-escalate challenging situations
• Helping students build communication, social, and life skills
• Promoting independence and preparing young people for adulthood
• Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every individual can thrive
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, support staff, and families to achieve the best outcomes for each learner
