Job summary

LexiaUK Ltd is recruiting a Customer Retentions Adviser in Gateshead to maximise customer and revenue retentions for software and support contracts.

You will handle renewals with existing educational establishments across the UK, using consultative sales and strong communication. You’ll keep CRM up to date and participate in a comprehensive training program, with a generous bonus scheme and benefits.

Qualifications

2 years' experience in renewals, retention, sales or account management.
Consultative sales experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent ICT skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Confident to present to clients and company managers.
Willingness to travel (occasional overnight stays).
GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above.
Pass a DBS check.
Must be willing to take holidays outside of Gateshead term times.

Responsibilities

Take cases through the renewals pipeline as quickly and efficiently as possible, adopting a consultative approach.
Make outbound calls to customers who have not responded to renewal notifications.
Meet renewal sales targets set by line manager.
Maintain close, regular contact with assigned accounts both current and lost.
Ensure databases are cleaned as appropriate.
Provide telephone advice and support.
Provide pricing information (quotes), negotiate and close sales.
Use CRM to record customer details, communications and orders with high accuracy.
Provide timely progress reports to line manager.
Respond to emails and calls promptly, recording in CRM.
