Job summary

LexiaUK Ltd in Gateshead is seeking a Customer Retentions Adviser to maximise renewals of software and support contracts with existing education customers across the UK.

You will use consultative sales techniques, keep CRM records up to date and work to achieve a high renewal rate, with full product training provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in renewals, retention, sales or account management.
• Consultative sales experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Excellent ICT skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel (occasional overnight stays).
• GCSE English and Maths
• Pass a DBS check.
• Holiday policy requires holidays outside Gateshead term time dates.

Responsibilities

• Take cases through the renewals pipeline as quickly and efficiently as possible, adopting a consultative approach.
• Make outbound calls to customers who have not responded to renewal notifications.
• Meet renewal sales targets set by line manager.
• Maintain close, regular contact with assigned accounts both current and lost.
• Ensure databases are cleaned as appropriate.
• Provide telephone advice and support.
• Provide pricing information (quotes), negotiate and close sales.
• Use CRM to record customer details, communications and process orders with high accuracy.
• Provide timely progress reports as required by line manager.
• Respond to all email and telephone requests promptly and accurately, recording them on CRM.
