Educato Recruitment is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work in secondary SEMH settings across Greater Manchester, including Rochdale. You will support pupils with SEMH and additional needs, build positive relationships, and help learners navigate social and emotional challenges throughout the school day.

This temporary to permanent role offers 27 hours per week, competitive daily rates, and ongoing support from a specialist education team.

Qualificações

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH/additional needs.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm, positive way.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

Job description

Educato Recruitment is looking for experienced and passionate Support Assistants to work within secondary SEMH settings across Greater Manchester.

We're looking for people who can build positive relationships with young people, provide consistent support and help pupils navigate the challenges that can come with social, emotional and mental health needs.

Experience supporting young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour or additional needs is highly desirable. We're particularly interested in people who are patient, resilient and confident supporting pupils who may need a little extra understanding and consistency throughout the school day.

Whether you have experience in a specialist setting, alternative provision or mainstream secondary with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you!

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH and/or additional needs
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm, positive and consistent way
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
