Job summary

WMJobs is seeking a dedicated Data and Systems Support Administrator to assist with the Education MIS (Synergy) within the Sandwell Education Service. You will work in a busy team, with office presence required for part of the week and some home-working to provide effective support to end users.

You will collect, reconcile and improve school data while supporting end users, resolving faults, and liaising with the supplier. DBS checks are typical for these roles.

Qualifications

• Some experience in a similar MIS or data management role.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changes.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and reconciling data from schools.
• Support end users of the Education MIS and liaise with the supplier.
• Perform system administration and maintenance tasks on the Education MIS.
• Contribute to implementing new modules and testing releases.
• Help maintain data quality and support end users to improve data accuracy.
