Job summary

Henry Blue is seeking an experienced MIS Manager for a 9-12 month contract in a college environment. The role focuses on leading the MIS function, ensuring accurate learner and curriculum data, and supporting funding data returns and strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will have strong MIS experience in education, be analytical and highly organised, with proven leadership of a team and effective stakeholder management. The role includes a daily rate of £300+.

Qualifications

• Experience managing MIS in an education/FE environment.
• Strong data accuracy and governance focus.
• Ability to lead and develop a MIS team and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the MIS function to ensure accurate learner and curriculum data.
• Oversee statutory and funding data returns and support funding optimisation.
• Provide accurate management information to support decision-making.
• Identify and manage data and MIS risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and effective use of technology across MIS.
• Lead and support the MIS team and collaborate across the College.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and statutory requirements.
• Provide oversight of examinations and assessment processes as required.
