Job summary

Amplify Education, a growing multi-academy trust of 21 schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset, is seeking an IT Technician to join the IT Team. From 1 December 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter, you will provide remote and face-to-face technical support to staff and students, helping them use IT effectively and safely.

You will explain technical issues to non-specialists, diagnose problems, and build positive relationships with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer facing / first line support role.
• Ability to diagnose / troubleshoot problems in a logical and focused manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and face-to-face technical support for staff and students.
• Offer advice and training to improve IT use and experience.
• Explain technical issues clearly to non-specialists and guide staff and students through steps to resolve issues.
