Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an IT Technician for a secondary school in Powys, Wales. The role is full-time for the academic year, with pay at £14.25 per hour and hours 8:30am–3/3:30pm.

You will provide first-line IT support to staff and students, maintain devices, troubleshoot issues, and assist with classroom setups and events. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required along with registration with the Education Workforce Council.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-line IT support to staff and students

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Assisting with network and connectivity issues
  • Setting up classrooms and devices for lessons, exams, and school events
  • Supporting the school's IT infrastructure and security procedures
  • Keeping accurate records of IT issues and resolutions
