William Hulme’s Grammar School (WHGS) is seeking an IT Technician to provide vital back-office IT support to staff and students, enabling excellent educational outcomes. The role reports to the IT Service Manager and covers WHGS plus 10 other academies in the shared service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy IT support role.
• Self-motivated and keen to learn new systems and technology.
• Ability to provide first line technical support to users’ helpdesk requests.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT service delivery for WHGS and 10 other academies as required.
• Maintain, operate and repair computers and computer-related resources across the academies.
• Respond to users’ helpdesk requests promptly to minimise disruption to teaching and administration.
