The Thinking Schools Academy Trust is seeking an IT Engineer primarily based at Maritime Academy, with travel to other sites within the hub as required to cover absences or provide support. You will troubleshoot and configure infrastructure across all Trust academies, working with IT staff and third-party suppliers to plan, implement and test ICT services.

You will engage with students, staff, directors and contractors, ensuring efficient operations, training colleagues, and maintaining service

Qualifikationen

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve IT infrastructure issues across multiple sites.
• Experience providing advanced fault resolution and configuration support.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, staff, and contractors.
• Willingness to travel to other hub sites as required.

Aufgaben

• Respond to customer comments and resolve issues with escalation as needed.
• Maintain calm under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Provide day-to-day operation of IT devices, servers, LAN/WLAN.
• Lead infrastructure triage and provide updates to customers.
• Analyse logs to identify patterns and potential threats.
