Job summary

King’s Group Academies is seeking an HR Advisor to join the Central People Team, providing proactive advice to school leaders and managers across the Trust. You will manage diverse employee relations cases from initial advice through to hearings and appeals, offering practical guidance and ensuring compliant outcomes while travelling between schools as required.

This role requires solid knowledge of UK employment law, strong communication, and discretion, with CIPD level 3 qualification or

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR Advisor role managing complex employee relations cases.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations best practices.
• Experience collaborating with trade unions and school leadership.
• Ability to advise, coach and challenge managers while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations caseload from initial advice through to hearings and appeals.
• Provide proactive HR guidance to school leaders and managers across the Trust.
• Support investigations, review correspondence and ensure timely case records.
• Collaborate with the People Operations Team to improve HR policies and templates.
