Job summary

Education Partnership North East (EPNE) invites applications for an Industry Placement Officer in Hartlepool. You will source and coordinate high-quality industry placements for Level 2 and T Level programmes, working with employers, students and curriculum teams to ensure safety and compliance.

You will assess students against Education and Care competencies, develop professional networks, and contribute to widening employment opportunities while supporting students in real-world settings.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students, employers and college staff.
• Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience of assessing students or learners in work placement or occupational settings.

Responsibilities

• Source, develop and coordinate high-quality industry placements meeting curriculum requirements.
• Build relationships with employers, supervisors, students and colleagues to ensure successful placements.
• Undertake placement visits and assessments and document progress to meet awarding organisation standards.
• Match placement opportunities to students' career pathways and timetables.
• Maintain accurate placement records and track hours using college systems.
• Support students' sector knowledge and employability through face-to-face delivery and events.
