Games Workshop Group PLC is seeking an Editorial Manager to lead the Warhammer 40,000 writing and editing teams and drive the production of Codexes, books and games.

You will define quality standards, coach teams, and manage projects from research and development through IP ideation and mainline production in a fast-paced studio environment near Nottingham. A strong focus on editorial excellence and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced manager with a track record of leading editorial teams.
• Strong writing and editing capabilities for IP-driven publishing or game projects.
• Proven ability to define quality standards, guide teams from R&D to IP ideation and production.
• Excellent budgeting, resource allocation, and cross‑functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Warhammer 40,000 writing and editing teams to deliver high-quality codexes, books and games.
• Define quality standards and guide team activities from research and development to IP ideation and mainline production.
• Allocate resources and schedule work for writers and editors, building strong relationships with Product Developers and Planners.
• Analyse KPI data and customer feedback to improve editorial quality and product outcomes.
