Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead infrastructure and construction across Edinburgh and Newcastle sites. The role involves coordinating multi-stakeholder teams, managing a wide project portfolio, and delivering on safety, compliance, and Net Zero objectives.

You will report to the Head of Facilities Projects, collaborate with the leadership team, and contribute to a progressive project delivery strategy in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure/construction programme management in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.
• Client-side or consultancy background experience.
• Leading projects through early RIBA stages before external appointment.
• Experience in appointing and managing design teams.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within an extended enterprise delivery team.
• Numerate, commercial and analytical with strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Fully conversant with CDM Regulations (2015).
• Degree in a relevant subject.
• Membership or accreditation by a professional body or working toward it.
• Experience in defence/high-security environments.
• Experience in high-tech engineering/manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience delivering net-zero infrastructure and workplace change projects.
• Experience delivering projects using industry-standard contracts.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for delivering site infrastructure and construction projects on the Edinburgh site.
• Engage with stakeholders and partners to own and implement the project programme across RIBA stages.
• Ensure CDM compliance and Leonardo processes.
• Lead a range of projects including growth projects, space reconfigurations, refurbishments, M&E and fabric upgrades (net zero and security).
• Coordinate with site and UK FM teams to champion continuous improvement and best practice.
