Job summary

Leonardo UK Ltd in Luton is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure and construction projects at the Luton site, coordinating key supply-chain partners and external stakeholders. The role blends office and site work, with occasional travel to other Leonardo locations.

Reporting to the Head of Facilities Projects, you will drive a programme across RIBA stages, ensure CDM compliance and safety, and champion continuous improvement within the UK facilities team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading infrastructure/construction programmes in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
• Background in client-side roles or consultancy.
• Experience guiding projects through early RIBA stages before external appointments.
• Experience appointing and managing design teams.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and commercial mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• CDM Regulations (2015) familiarity.
• Degree in a relevant subject; professional body accreditation.
• Experience in defence/high-security environments.
• Experience in high-tech engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience delivering net-zero infrastructure.
• Experience using standard contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all infrastructure and construction projects on the Luton site.
• Engage with key stakeholders and enterprise delivery partners to define and implement the programme.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and Leonardo processes.
• Deliver projects including workspace reconfigurations, M&E, fabric upgrades, Net Zero and security.
• Collaborate with UK FM teams to promote continuous improvement with the wider site team.
