Job summary

The John Innes Centre is seeking an experienced EDI Coordinator to support its participation in the Advance HE Inclusive Institutions Framework. You will coordinate evidence-based self-assessment, gather information, engage stakeholders and help develop and monitor a clear action plan to improve inclusive working and research culture.

The role requires flexible hours, collaboration with senior leaders, and a commitment to equality and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Desirable: Relevant professional development in equality, diversity and inclusion, management, HR or related area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate evidence-based self-assessment for the Inclusive Institutions Framework.
• Engage colleagues and groups across the Institute; gather information and feedback.
• Support development, monitoring and communication of action plans.
• Attend meetings and coordinate activities; maintain records and follow up actions.
