Job summary

University of Oxford seeks an EDI Officer to turn the Mathematics Institute's equality, diversity and inclusion strategy into measurable change. You will support initiatives, lead projects and use data to assess progress, sharing best practice across the University.

The role is part-time (60% FTE), primarily on-site in the Andrew Wiles Building, Oxford, with possible remote work. You will contribute to Athena Swan action planning and staff experience initiatives.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience developing, implementing or evaluating EDI initiatives.
• Strong understanding of equality and diversity issues.
• Experience analysing quantitative and/or qualitative data.
• Experience in higher education is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate EDI initiatives.
• Provide specialist EDI advice and guidance.
• Lead and support EDI projects.
• Analyse data to assess progress and translate findings into recommendations.
• Share best practice with EDI colleagues across the University.
