Job description

Clinical Deputy Manager – £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Woodlands Care Home, Hazeldene Road, Aberdeen, AB15 8FY

Due to the internal promotion of our Deputy Manager to Home Manager, we are thrilled to offer a rare and exciting opportunity to join our passionate leadership team.

Are you driven by the desire to provide exceptional care and enrich the lives of our older generation residents?

Do you lead by example, nurture your team, and set high standards of clinical excellence?

We’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Deputy Manager to support and lead our care team.

You’ll be working alongside a knowledgeable and supportive Home Manager who champions development, growth, and learning—making this a fantastic stepping stone for your future career.

"Our home is proud to hold a 9.9 rating on carehome.co.uk and consistently strong Care Inspectorate grades, with an overall Grade 5 – a testament to our commitment to outstanding care and leadership.”

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Clinical Excellence: Take the lead in ensuring the highest standards of tailored clinical care.
  • Inspire and Develop the Team: Support staff training, offer coaching and mentoring, and cultivate a culture of kindness and growth.
  • Be Present & Supportive: Step in when needed to provide hands-on support, including occasional shift work, and take the lead in the Home Manager’s absence.
  • Make a Difference: Build strong relationships with residents, families, and professionals to enrich the care we provide.
  • Embrace Flexibility: Work one weekend per month and adapt as needed to support the home’s day-to-day needs.

About You:

  • A qualified RGN or RMN with current NMC registration.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and confident in leading others in a care setting.
  • Experience supporting elderly residents in a care home or similar setting.
  • A natural leader who is kind, flexible, and committed to training and developing others.
  • Able to balance supernumerary responsibilities with hands-on leadership when required.

Why Join Us?

You’ll be part of Care Concern Group, a leading, family-owned care group with over 100 homes across the UK. We believe in creating warm, supportive environments where both residents and staff can thrive.

Our five core values guide everything we do:
