Industrial UPS Sales Manager
Location: Hybrid with regional responsibility.

Responsibilities
- Manage customer expectations concerning enquiries and tenders.
- Review, comment, and negotiate commercial terms, including credit requirements.
- Lead handover meetings and take ownership of commercial aspects such as margins.
- Attend customer meetings in person or via Teams as needed.
- Discuss and review initial proposals based on client specifications.
- Advise on suitable technical products, including AC UPS, DC Chargers, and batteries.
- Understand requirements for installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Support tendering engineers by providing guidance on margins and pricing to maximize profit.
- Ensure all customer interactions and activities are logged in the CRM system.
- Prepare quotes and tenders for products, services, and training to meet customer expectations and support other departments.
- Participate in site surveys and meetings as necessary.
- Provide monthly reports and presentations with the sales team or independently.
- Make product development and pricing recommendations.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and pricing.
- Assist in the development of team members and collaborate across departments.
- Promote a proactive, 'Can do' attitude among stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in the Standby Power Industry or similar sectors like switchgear is advantageous.
- Knowledge of power electronics.
- Ability to produce tenders and quotations is beneficial.
- HNC qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
