Job Title: Supply Economics Teacher - September 2025 Start - Barnsley
Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Supply
Salary: 150 - 220 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role:

As a Supply Economics Teacher for Tradewind, you will deliver engaging and impactful lessons on key economic principles, including Supply, Demand, and Market Dynamics, to secondary school students. You'll have the freedom to teach in a range of supportive and welcoming schools across Barnsley, without the pressures of planning and paperwork that often come with permanent roles.

Whether you're an experienced educator or an ECT (Early Career Teacher) looking to build classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow professionally while maintaining flexibility.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach engaging Economics lessons focused on the theme of Supply and wider market topics.

  • Adapt quickly to new school environments and follow provided lesson plans.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.

  • Specialism in Economics or related subject.

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
