Job description

Job Title: Business Lecturer

Service Care Solutions is seeking a Business Lecturer to work within The Manchester College on a contract basis.

Location: Manchester

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, assessments, and resources across various learning environments and levels up to Level 4.
• Create resources and lesson plans aligned with course frameworks, ensuring compliance with curriculum standards and quality assurance.
• Mark student work, ensure learning outcomes are achieved, and provide constructive feedback for development.
• Utilize technology to enhance learning inside and outside the classroom.
• Integrate employability, English, Maths, and citizenship skills into lessons and schemes of learning.
• Collaborate with tutors, support staff, and coordinators to support student welfare and achievement.
• Participate in lesson observations, verification, course reviews, and adhere to college policies and awarding body standards.
• Attend CPD sessions and industry updates to keep teaching practices current.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Education or PGCE.
• Current and valid industry specialism.
• Assessor qualifications (if required by the Awarding Organisation).
• English and Maths minimum Level 2 (Grade C or 4 and above).

Experience:
