Grade: Points 1 to 9 of the sixth form colleges teacher pay scale, currently £32,178.00 to £49,725 per annum FTE (£28,730.00 to £44,397.00) per annum pro rata for the part-time contract.

Greenhead College is located on an attractive campus close to Huddersfield town centre, adjacent to Greenhead Park. It is easily accessible via the M62, train, and bus stations. The College has approximately 2750 students studying mainly A Level courses across 35 subjects, with ambitions to grow to at least 2800 students by 2025-26.

The academic structure includes Heads of Curriculum who are subject specialists, and a unique tutorial system with fully qualified teachers providing pastoral care, careers guidance, and mental health support. Students participate in extracurricular activities and a 'Step Into Your Future' scheme with projects and work placements.

In March 2025, OFSTED graded the College as ‘Outstanding’. In July 2024, it received the Further Education Mental Health Gold Award. In April 2025, it was awarded ENA Further Education College of the Year.
