Business Lecturer

Location: Dudley
Hours: Part-time (0.7)
Type: Permanent
Salary: GBP25,000-GBP42,700 (pro rata for part time)

Think FE are proud to be working with a fantastic college in the West Midlands who are looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Business Lecturer to join a dynamic and supportive team. The college is committed to delivering high-quality education and enhancing their learners' experience, so they are seeking a proactive professional who is eager to inspire and shape the minds of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons for Levels 2 and 3 Business as well as T-levels.
2. Providing interactive and engaging lessons.
3. Creating and providing resources to aid in student learning.
4. Assessing, monitoring, supporting, and providing feedback on students' work to ensure progress.
5. Adapting to varying class sizes (typically between 20-30 students).

Essential Requirements:

1. A Degree in Business or a related subject.
2. A recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE or CertEd. We also welcome other teaching qualifications.
3. Prior teaching experience, and an in-depth knowledge of Business (ideally at A-Level specifically).
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Upon offer and prior to commencement of employment, you will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
