Job summary

Generator Hostels Ltd. is seeking an energetic eComms & CRM Executive to drive the digital growth of our website across Generator properties.

Based at our Central London Head Office, you will ensure our site is a high-performing channel that inspires guests and converts searches into bookings. You will own website analytics, SEO initiatives, content updates through CMS, and collaborate with external partners to optimise campaigns and CRM activity.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a digital marketing, eCommerce, or website-focused role.
• Strong exposure to SEO and website content management.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and managing complex website content.
• Analytical skills with GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how content is structured.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise the website as a core digital channel, ensuring content is accurate and aligned with commercial priorities.
• Analyse website performance (traffic, engagement, conversion) and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support and execute SEO initiatives including keyword research and on-page optimisation.
• Contribute to SEO/website strategy using performance data and trends.
• Serve as a point of contact for external web and technology partners and support tools integrations.
• Ensure tracking and data flows support campaign measurement and analysis.
• Collaborate with agencies to implement technical SEO recommendations and monitor site health.
• Support paid media and CRM by optimising landing pages and assisting with email campaigns.
• Champion digital excellence and maintain brand consistency across digital touchpoints.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Manageand optimise the website as a core digital channel, ensuring all hotel andF&B content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with our commercialpriorities.
• Continuouslyanalyse website performance (traffic, engagement, conversion), identifyingopportunities to improve user journeys and booking performance.
• Supportand execute SEO initiatives, including keyword research, on-pageoptimisation, and content improvements to drive organic visibility.
• Contributeto the development of SEO and website strategy, bringing insights based onperformance data and modern search trends.
• Actas a key point of contact for external web and technology partners,supporting the implementation of new tools, features, and integrations.
• Ensuretracking, tagging, and data flows are correctly set up to support campaignmeasurement and performance analysis.
• Collaboratewith agencies to implement technical SEO recommendations and monitoroverall site health.
• Supportpaid media and CRM activity by ensuring landing pages are optimised andassisting with email campaign execution where required.
• Championdigital excellence, maintaining brand consistency across all digitaltouchpoints and supporting the delivery of the digital roadmap.

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• 2–3years’ experience in a digital marketing, eCommerce, or website-focusedrole (in-house or agency).
• Strongexposure to SEO and website content management, with a clear understandingof how structure impacts search performance.
• Familiaritywith CMS platforms and confidence in managing and updating complex websitecontent.
• Analyticaland technical skills, specifically with tools such as GA4, Google SearchConsole, and Google Tag Manager.
• Basicunderstanding of HTML/CSS and how website content is structured.
• Aproactive mindset with the confidence to suggest ideas and identifyopportunities for improvement.
• Highlyorganised with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and the abilityto manage multiple priorities.
• Excellentcommunication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate acrossinternal teams and external agencies.
