Job summary

Beyond Retail is an award-winning multi-website online retailer serving Britain’s homeowners and tradespeople. The New Product Ecommerce Merchandiser will drive product launches across Drench, Tap Warehouse and Toasty, turning raw data into complete, customer-friendly listings with rich attributes and filters.

You will collaborate with Merchandising, Buying and Marketing to align launches with stock and campaigns, while continually improving data quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in ecommerce merchandising or similar role is desirable, not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of accurate product information.
• Digital confidence and ability to learn new platforms quickly.
• Organise and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, ambition and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to use Google Sheets or Excel beyond basic level (e.g., VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Manage new products through the ecommerce launch process across Drench, Tap Warehouse and Toasty.
• Create accurate data-rich product listings including categorisation, attributes, tags and filters.
• Link upsells, cross-sells and essential extras to support purchases.
• Edit, crop and format product images to brand standards for launch.
• Carry out post-launch quality checks in search results and category listings.
• Use the New Product Introduction workflow to improve data and add filters/attributes.
• Identify gaps and bottlenecks; work with the New Product Lead to implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Buying and Marketing to align launches with stock and promotions.
