Job summary

SUEZ is recruiting for a shop role at our re-use site in the UK. You will manage merchandising, pricing, and presentation of donations to maximise sales and customer satisfaction.

The role requires flexible shift and weekend work, a passion for the environment, and strong customer service. You will handle stock, cash, and help promote the charitable values of the re-use scheme while working with site staff on HWRC operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail with a passion for customer service.
• Knowledge of recycling or willingness to learn.
• Able to manage stock and handle cash and financial aspects.
• Flexible to shift and weekend work.
• Good teamwork with site staff.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising stock, pricing and presenting donations for sale.
• Manage stock and communicate stock needs to the re-use manager.
• Operate the cash register and reconcile cash/credit receipts.
• Ensure goods are sold at appropriate value and dispose of rejects.
• Arrange collections and deliveries efficiently.
• Maintain shop security of premises, stock and cash.
• Promote the values of the shop and the charitable nature of the reuse scheme.
• Provide excellent customer experience to encourage repeat visits.
