Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
As a Dynamics 365 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining solutions within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including Warehouse Management, Finance, and Human Resources, to ensure seamless system integration and functionality across the organisation.
- Provide technical support for Dynamics 365 F&O users: responding to incidents, service requests, and resolving technical issues related to system performance, functionality, and integrations.
- Assist in functional and regression testing: for new releases, patches, and system updates in D365 F&O.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders: to understand requirements and validate system functionality and performance.
- Analyse and diagnose system issues: providing root cause analysis and suggesting solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues: between D365 F&O and other business applications, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation: related to troubleshooting steps, system configurations, and test cases.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios: for system validation and enhancements.
- Work with developers and system administrators: to deploy fixes and patches to improve system performance.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to best practices: in system setup, testing, and issue resolution.
- Actively engage in knowledge sharing: within the team to continuously improve support processes and testing methodologies.
- Assist in training end users: on D365 F&O functionalities, processes, and new features when necessary.
A Few Things About You
- Hands-on experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and testing Dynamics 365 F&O applications: including modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement & Sourcing, and Retail.
- Proven experience in functional testing and regression testing: of D365 F&O systems, with a strong understanding of testing frameworks (e.g., Azure DevOps, Test Plans).
- Strong background in diagnosing and resolving technical issues: related to system performance and integration within the D365 F&O environment.
- Extensive experience working with integration tools: (e.g., Power Automate, Data Entities, APIs) to troubleshoot and support integrations between D365 F&O and other business systems.
- Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and scenarios: with a focus on system validation and new functionality.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams: ensuring a thorough understanding of business requirements and system functionality.
- Experience supporting users through incident management, service requests, and system troubleshooting: ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload: in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Desired Experience
- Previous experience working with Agile methodologies: and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Power BI: for reporting and analysis within D365 F&O.
- Background in data migration and data management processes: for D365 F&O implementations.
- Solid understanding of business processes: within Finance and Supply Chain operations.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Dynamics 365 troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance.
