Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a boutique Financial Planning practice in Hitchin who are looking to recruit a Client Relationship Manager to join their team. They seek someone strong in communicating with clients via phone, email, letter, and text, primarily to engage with existing clients.

  • Managing & developing client relationships and maintaining client satisfaction through calls, emails, and texts.
  • Monitoring and reporting on client engagement and communication.
  • Proactively engaging with clients using the Thermometer test—tracking last contact dates and discussing how we can assist them to prevent relationships from cooling.
  • Sending out client feedback surveys and policy questionnaires to gather insights and improve services.
  • Building the brand through Google reviews and Trust Pilot reviews.
  • Personalized client emails regarding action points, tax planning, legislation updates, holiday greetings, follow-ups, and assisting with tax return data, focusing mainly on the top 50 clients.
  • Arranging client appointments and liaising with the Client Services Manager and Paraplanner for reviews.
  • Coordinating with life companies and investment firms to ensure contact details are accurate and up to date.
  • Producing investment and protection quotes and comparison charts.
  • Submitting new business to Transact, Fidelity, and life insurance providers.
  • Learning and proficiently using Intelliflo, Transact, Fidelity, and protection companies.
  • Updating the New Business Register (NBR).
  • Chasing leads, progressing pipeline business, and updating the team on progress.
  • Assisting with annual client reports and re-balancing portfolios.
  • Ensuring contact details are current and accurate.
