Job summary

Valley Vets is seeking an experienced ECC Veterinary Surgeon for nights at Valley Veterinary Hospital. The role supports a busy out-of-hours service across approximately 40 local practices, with a large team of nurses and support staff.

You will manage diverse medical and surgical emergencies within a collaborative hospital setting. The position offers permanent or fixed-term contracts with a rota of 7 nights on / 7 nights off, aiming for work‑life balance and a substantial caseload to develop

Qualifications

• Strong clinical decision-making
• Confidence in emergency situations
• Previous ECC experience is essential

Responsibilities

• Manage complex medical and surgical ECC cases.
• Work with the night team on a 7 nights on / 7 nights off rota.
• Provide high-quality emergency care to approx. 40 local practices.
