Job description

We are currently recruiting a Trade Sales Manager within the Windows, Doors & Conservatories sector. The successful candidate will focus on building and managing relationships with trade customers (like builders, developers, and installers) who purchase windows and doors for projects. They are responsible for driving sales within the trade channel, setting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers by providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Generate new leads and promote sales through various methods, including online marketing, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the company's Window, Door & Conservatory products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and payment options with trade customers, and close sales effectively.
  • Provide technical support to trade customers, assisting with product selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Track sales performance, analyze data, and provide reports to management.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a variety of trade customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with trade customers.
  • Experience in sales techniques, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Solid understanding of the company's Window, Door & Conservatory products.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively with trade customers.
  • Good time management skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Full responsibility for managing the trade counter and products.
