Job description

We’re a fun-loving, sustainability-focused group that makes epic award-winning wine, and we have an exciting opportunity for a On-Trade Sales Manager to join our Global Sales team.

Reporting to our UK/Ireland Sales Manager, you’ll be on the ground selling and promoting Yealands portfolio in the UK On-Trade Channels. This role is permanent, full-time and can be based anywhere in the UK (from your home office).

To grow Yealands brand presence and market share, you’ll be equipped with:

• WSET or equivalent wine qualification, with Level 3+ being preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of winemaking, including styles, storage, faults, and the New Zealand Wine Industry
• A can-do positive attitude with great customer management skills
• A solid understanding of the UK wine market structure and trends
• Relevant sales training and experience in selling wine or similar beverages, including time spent in market selling to national and/or regional on-trade businesses
• (Ideally) experience working with a national distributor such as Matthew Clark or Bibendum
• Excellent analytic skills and computer literacy in Microsoft based applications
