Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the sales desk, ensuring excellent service and smooth activities.
- Implement the store's sales plan, aligning the team to meet sales and margin targets.
- Promote customer service excellence, meeting service level agreements for in-person and telephone support.
- Maximize upsell opportunities and product promotion, including monthly offers and direct orders.
Additional Responsibilities
- Lead the team to meet profitability and margin targets through sound commercial decisions.
- Manage the quote bank and Customer Contact platform to improve conversion rates.
- Develop effective B2B relationships by understanding local customer needs.
- Monitor customer accounts, identify growth opportunities, and work to retain key clients.
Team Development
- Manage the trade sales team, including task assignment, performance management, and coaching.
- Motivate and inspire the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Support recruitment and team lifecycle management.
Operational Leadership
- Act as the senior leader when required, overseeing store operations.
- Handle key holder responsibilities such as opening/closing, cash handling, and vehicle/plant monitoring.
Store Culture & Service
- Create a positive department culture aligned with core values.
- Encourage the use of internal systems for communication and operations.
