About the role

As one of our Customer Delivery Drivers, you'll bring quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service directly to our customers' doors. You'll embody our ethos of passionate Partners serving food lovers. When not on the road, you'll support the shop team with daily tasks like stock replenishment and housekeeping, contributing to the shop's efficient and friendly operation.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be 18 years or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Start your day in store, preparing for deliveries.
• Load and prepare your van, ensuring all orders are ready for efficient delivery.
• Complete vehicle safety checks, maintaining road safety and compliance.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Assist customers and build rapport through trust and service.
• Support shop tasks as needed.

Essential skills/experience

• Valid UK manual driving licence (B-Category) with no more than 6 points.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good time management.
• Physical ability to lift crates and move cages.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
• IT literacy.

Desirable skills/experience

• Previous driving experience, especially with chilled vehicles.
