Off the back of our continued success and unprecedented demand for our market-leading, AI-powered customer and employee experience (cX & eX) solutions, we're looking for entrepreneurial, energetic, and success-driven Senior Business Development Managers to join the Social Housing or our Local Government Team within our Commercial arm of the business.

We are seeking a driven, ambitious, and successful Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing new business sales team. The role involves selling our market-leading Digital Transformation solutions to C-level executives across the public sector. It will be a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment, involving:

  1. Managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish (cold call to close).
  2. Researching companies and the industry to understand relevant issues, challenges, and solutions.
  3. Communicating the VerseOne Group value proposition effectively.
  4. Presenting and demonstrating solutions to C-level executives, building relationships, and negotiating complex agreements.

The ideal candidate will be a hungry and energetic sales professional looking to advance their career by joining a market-leading company with an exciting career path. Experience in selling complex software solutions and possessing strong sales soft skills are essential for success in this role.

Key requirements:

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience in Housing, Local Government, or the Public sector is preferable but not essential.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work towards daily, weekly, and monthly targets with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive approach to closing deals.
  • Capability to manage the entire sales cycle, including cold calling, demonstrations, qualification, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
  • Ability to work under pressure with diligence and consistency.
  • Outgoing personality, determination, good listening skills, and a drive to excel.
  • PC literacy, professional email writing, and proposal development skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Understanding of selling to the public sector is highly advantageous.
