Bank Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6)
We are seeking experienced Speech and Language Therapists at Band 6 to join NHS Forth Valley’s Staff Bank. The role involves providing staff at short notice and managing unforeseen staff shortages.
The Speech and Language Therapy team in Forth Valley is nationally recognized for their leading work and has recently undergone transformational changes to improve outcomes for children and young people, especially those living in poverty.
The team collaborates with families, education, and health staff to deliver universal, targeted, and individualized approaches. The successful candidate will work to reduce speech, language, and communication difficulties' impact on children's wellbeing, employing a whole systems approach to improve outcomes.
This role requires delivering innovative universal, targeted, and individualized approaches within education and the wider community. Candidates should have extensive experience supporting children and young people with communication needs, implementing whole-school and nursery approaches, and measuring impact. Competence in improving communication environments, influencing behavior change, and coaching parents and staff is essential.
