Bank Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6)
We are seeking Speech and Language Therapists at Band 6 to join NHS Forth Valley’s Staff Bank to provide staff at short notice and manage unforeseen staff shortages.
The Speech and Language Therapy team in Forth Valley is nationally recognized for their sector-leading work and has recently undergone a transformational change to further improve outcomes for children and young people, especially those living in poverty.
The team collaborates with families, education, and health staff to deliver quality Universal, Targeted, and Individualized approaches. The successful candidate will work in partnership to reduce the risks and impacts of speech, language, and communication difficulties on children’s wellbeing, including delivering a whole systems approach to improve outcomes.
This role involves implementing innovative universal, targeted, and individualized approaches within Education and the wider community. The candidate should be highly experienced in providing support to children and young people with communication needs and in delivering whole school and nursery approaches, with the ability to measure impact effectively. Competence in enhancing communication environments, influencing behavior change, and coaching parents and education staff is essential.
You will receive professional support, leadership, and clinical supervision, along with access to high-quality professional development from our skilled teams across Forth Valley.
