We are seeking experienced Speech and Language Therapists at Band 6 to join NHS Forth Valley’s Staff Bank. The role involves providing staffing cover at short notice and managing unforeseen staff shortages.
The Speech and Language Therapy team in Forth Valley is nationally recognized for sector-leading work and has recently undergone transformational changes aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people, especially those living in poverty.
The team collaborates with families, education, and health professionals to deliver Universal, Targeted, and Individualized approaches. The successful candidate will work in partnership to reduce the impact of speech, language, and communication difficulties on children’s wellbeing, implementing a whole systems approach to improve outcomes.
This role requires delivering innovative, whole-system approaches within Education and the wider community. The candidate should be highly experienced in providing individualized support to children and young people with communication needs, as well as delivering universal and targeted approaches in school and nursery settings. Experience in measuring impact, improving communication environments, influencing behavior change, and coaching parents and staff is essential.
