Job description

Equans is looking for a HR Advisor to join our team in Birmingham on a permanent, full-time basis. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Role Overview

The post holder will cover multiple sites across our Birmingham portfolio, with on-site presence required 5 days a week. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will provide first-line HR support to mid and front-line management, handling policies such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within a large organization, excellent stakeholder management skills, knowledge of UK employment law, and the ability to work independently and remotely.

Key Responsibilities

1. Liaise with managers and recruitment teams to optimize hiring processes.
2. Update and maintain HR databases and documentation.
3. Monitor attendance and support improvement plans.
4. Assist in communication and engagement initiatives.
5. Support local HR consultations and produce relevant documentation.
6. Attend meetings, take notes, and support HR policies and procedures.
7. Assist with employee grievances and disciplinary actions as needed.
8. Manage PDR cycles and support month-end reporting.
9. Analyze HR KPIs and recommend improvements.
10. Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulations.
11. Provide general HR support and act as a liaison between HR and Employee Services.

Candidate Requirements
