Job summary

InterGen is seeking an EC&I Technician in Spalding to support plant availability through safe maintenance and SCADA/DCS instrumentation expertise. The role includes supervising contract staff, updating procedures, and ensuring safety documentation is signed off.

You will work in a power-generation environment with opportunities for on-call support and participation in outage planning and project initiatives. HNC/HND preferred with practical experience in power plants.

Qualifications

• Maintenance & reliability focus to support plant availability.
• Background in power generation or heavy industry operations.
• Experience with control systems and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve plant availability through safe maintenance activities.
• Support delivery of operational priorities and supervise contract workforce.
• Produce accurate safety and technical documentation.
• Plan and supervise outages and manage critical equipment.
• Attend daily meetings and support production priorities.
