Job summary

InterGen is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join the Spalding team. You will maintain and repair mechanical equipment at Spalding Power Station, planning maintenance, updating CMMS records and ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires a recognised mechanical qualification and at least 5 years in heavy process environments. You will work on-site, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification and extensive experience in heavy process environments.
• Experience with CMMS systems and planning maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical assets such as boilers, turbines, pumps and gearboxes.
• Plan PPM schedules and review plant defects.
• Update CMMS and generate RAMs/work orders with safety sign-off.
• Supervise external contractors during maintenance and inspections.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
