Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd in Warrington is seeking an experienced CE&I Design Engineer to deliver high-quality electrical design packages for complex projects in highly regulated environments.

You will produce specifications, drawings, calculations and verification documentation, ensure compliance with IET Wiring Regulations, CDM and BS EN standards, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, buildable solutions on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in an appropriate discipline.
• Significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery.
• Experience in design delivery of building electrical services.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Familiarity with IET Wiring Regulations.
• Experience with regulatory and safety standards in nuclear or highly regulated sectors.

Job description

• Produce high-quality engineering design work packages, including specifications, drawings, calculations, analyses, assessments, and verification documentation.
• Deliver designs that meet legal, regulatory, functional, and performance requirements.
• Ensure engineering outputs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, compliant, and practical engineering solutions.
• Support the successful delivery of projects by producing clear, accurate, and buildable design documentation.
  Must have significant demonstrable experience in CE&I Project Delivery.

• Experience in the design delivery of building electrical services.
• Competent in the application of CDM Regulations.
• Competent in the application of IET Wiring Regulations.
• Experience of space management, cable routing, and cable management.
• Ability to work both as part of an integrated delivery team and independently, often within restrictive time constraints.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels.
• Degree qualified in an appropriate discipline.
• Desirable Experience with Radiometric Systems.
• Experience delivering against BS 61508.
• Experience with Machinery Safety Regulations and BS EN 13849.

Additional Information Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
