Job summary

Actemium Design is looking for an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Degree Apprentice to gain hands-on experience in designing and developing EC&I systems for complex industrial environments, including nuclear. You’ll learn to create electrical drawings, select equipment, and develop PLC/DCS controls while working with experienced engineers.

The programme combines university study with substaintial workplace experience, progressing toward a Level 6 degree in Electrical and Electronic

Qualifications

• Minimum entry requirements: 96 UCAS points from L3 qualifications.
• Strong maths/engineering foundations from A-Levels / BTEC / T-Level.
• Desirable STEM subjects include Electronics, Physics, CS, Design & Technology.

Responsibilities

• Work with multidisciplinary engineering team delivering projects across nuclear, defence, and decommissioning sectors.
• Produce engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Inventor, AR/VR, and 3D printing.
