Location and Responsibilities

Location Description: Undertakes the planning, preparation, and cooking of meals, taking into account any special requests or dietary requirements within the unit.

Responsibilities include:

1. Taking full shift responsibility for the catering operation (in the absence of the Head Chef).
2. Ensuring the cost-effective and efficient control of stock, including placing orders for food products and checking/reconciliation of deliveries. Minimizing wastage.
3. Assisting in creating new menus to ensure meals are of high quality and aligned with healthy eating guidelines.
4. Supervising assigned catering staff to ensure their work meets operational standards, including food safety and cleanliness.
