About The Team

The Change Portfolio Office oversees programmes, projects, and change initiatives within the City of London Police’s portfolio, ranging from organisational design to technological advances and national projects. We focus on delivering change to meet future business needs and the ambitions of our Policing Plan.

Key to our success is deploying analytical skills, professional development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About The Role

We have an ambitious change portfolio aimed at transformational change to meet future needs and achieve our Policing and Corporate Plans. The Change Portfolio Office manages a wide range of programmes and projects, including force-wide initiatives and national programme integrations.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to identify requirements using tools like interviews, workshops, surveys, and business process descriptions.
  • Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and translate high and low-level information into actionable formats.
  • Interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements using clear, plain English.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze information needs and document requirements for desired outcomes.
  • Develop options papers, conduct feasibility studies, and perform cost-benefit analyses to support business cases.
Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • IIBA foundation qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and methods
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective presentation skills for workshops and events

Selection Process
