A leading company in heavy-duty equipment technology is seeking a commercially focused General Manager to lead sales and service operations in the UK. This field-based role involves managing a significant business segment, driving sales strategy, and enhancing customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales leadership background, particularly in capital equipment, and will be responsible for overseeing a team to achieve revenue targets.
We are seeking a commercially focused General Manager to lead our sales and service operations in the UK. The ideal candidate will excel in building customer relationships and developing staff. This role is based in the Midlands with UK travel required, and experience in selling capital equipment and maintenance/service contracts is essential.
BASIC SALARY: £70,000 - £80,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: General Manager / Strategic Sales Manager in Industrial and Heavy Manufacturing sectors.
Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director, you will succeed a long-standing predecessor and have opportunities to influence change and enhance customer engagement. Managing a business segment with approximately £7m turnover, comprising £5m in equipment sales and £2m in service revenue, you will oversee 5 direct and 15 indirect reports across the UK.
