A leading organization in West Yorkshire is seeking a Senior Manager for Performance and Governance. This role involves strategic leadership, project management, and enhancing the Unit's governance functions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management and stakeholders to align initiatives with the Mayor's mandates and promote equality and inclusion.
Good Growth is responsible for delivering and implementing the Mayor's environment, transport, culture, and economic strategies, and for the effective implementation of the London Plan. The Directorate also oversees regeneration (excluding housing-led projects), enterprise, growth, capital projects, and design work.

About The Role
The Senior Manager Performance and Governance is a new role requiring expertise in governance and operational planning. As part of the Senior Management Team, you will provide leadership and support internally within the Unit and strategically across the GLA and Mayor's Office.
You will assist the Assistant Director of Culture, Creative Industries and 24 Hour London, and the Senior Manager of World City and Operations, leading the Unit's corporate reporting and governance functions. Your role involves embedding organizational changes, coordinating with other GLA leads, and ensuring the Unit's work aligns with priorities and is well-resourced.
