In this role, you will:
The Head of Regulatory Reporting is responsible for the timely and accurate production of regulatory reports and data submissions to banking regulatory authorities, facilitating the monitoring of capital, liquidity, and other financial risks facing the bank.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the implementation of Regulatory Reporting systems into the bank’s operating model, ensuring data integrity for timely and accurate reporting.
- Producing and preparing regulatory returns, including COREP and FINREP, in accordance with legislation.
- Maintaining up-to-date awareness of prudential requirements under CRR and CRD, and reflecting these in reporting processes as requirements evolve.
- Providing advice on regulatory requirements during new product development, ensuring data needs are met for accurate reporting.
- Ensuring a robust control environment around regulatory return production, with clear documentation and governance, including reconciliation of reports to core financial data.
- Supporting the wider finance team in balance sheet reporting, including Asset and Liability Committee activities, managing exposures to capital, liquidity, funding, and interest rate risks.
- Developing models to support risk analytics related to interest rate and capital risks.
- Leading the implementation and managing the bank’s ALM systems, supporting the CFO’s operational responsibilities.
- Providing support to the Financial Planning and Analysis team on financial forecasts, ensuring compliance with capital and liquidity standards.
- Supporting the development of ICAAP, ILAAP, RRP, and Pillar III reports.
- Acting as a key contact for regulator engagement.
- Assisting the CFO in strengthening the finance function.
A bit about you:
- Experience in a similar regulatory reporting role within financial services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience in balance sheet management, with knowledge of capital and liquidity management.
- Experience with ALMIS is preferred.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent team support and development skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven leadership in team building and management.
- Effective communication skills to influence and motivate.
- Willingness to take on new challenges within a dynamic finance environment.
