We are currently expanding our specialist tax teams and seeking a Tax Disputes and Resolutions Director to join our national team. This role involves working with businesses, individuals, and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to resolve tax disputes and enquiries. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with knowledge and experience to achieve successful outcomes in client interactions with HMRC.

This position involves:

1. Leading the national team and developing relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact.
2. Delivering high-quality Tax Dispute Resolution services to clients, collaborating with colleagues and other service lines.
3. Working closely with colleagues to provide solutions to clients while maintaining Forvis Mazars' quality standards.
4. Engaging in external business development activities and internal networking with partners.
5. Mentoring and supporting the development of junior staff members.

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA, ACCA, CTA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience operating at a senior manager level or above.
• Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with HMRC.
• Strong client handling skills and experience managing a busy team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to network internally and externally.
